I am trying to make the new hangar look good as possible, because of this I went through a sort of "builders block" (pun) you could say. After making the spawns I stopped working on the build until two weeks ago. Besides the old hangar comparison images and the fighter jets everything was made in four days (dec 28-31). Also you can slightly see part of the catwalk network above the hangar door.
(Note the yellow 16x16 baseplate is not the capture zone, it is simply a placeholder for a special design of fighter jet I plan on putting in.)The new skybox I plan on the build to have is Demain's "
Earth from Space." The previous builders block I was going through that stopped production for months was over how to make the hangar wall and how the ground should look. I am now going through another builders block over a much smaller detail. So basically I have stopped working on this for another few weeks.
I have changed my stance and think when this new hangar map is introduced the old one should be kept. In design the older version looks comparatively like an early 2000s video game towards the new one. With that said once the new hangar is introduced I feel the only songs playable in the old hangar should be video game music from pre-2006.
I will definitely add more objects scattering the hangar floor just as the floor of the old hangar is much more filled. But for right now that is all I have to report. Until next time!
