Should I consider secondary developers?

No, retain the purity. One man, one mod, ein reich!

Haha, well I was never going to be satisfied with how the turret on the tank was going to look.
But I'm ok with it on a water truck.
I'll upload and pm the link to you in just a minute.

Uh.
Can you make it public or at least pm it to me?

I mean, joining the server.
I can whip up a few models for you too.
I have a workload to catch up on, kinda moving around at the moment because of recent events, and I really don't have as much time to develop as I thought I would.

I still do things for the mod, it's just a lot of code gruntwork and testing to do and I'm just not up to it right now.

It's non-lethal.

So, did you make that mini poll about beta testing just to make our mouths water and to have us beg and plead, or do you actually want us to test?

Okay, I understand that

What? I'm taking that as a no.

No it will probably be a CityRPG exclusive for a while.

That police truck is really sweet.

but now I have to replace my old Chicago styled police station with something more authoritarian :(

haha I'm just kidding. Do you want big garages for police vehicles?

Iban, can you respond to my PM? Thanks.

I would want open beta.

Potential crime... spray painting people and buildings?

Potential crime... spray painting people and buildings?
never

I've actually looked into it, but I think the decal system Torque has is broken in Blockland. That, and I don't think you can apply decals on anything else but static shapes such as the ground and the bedroom.

What? Spraying things does no harm, so why should it be a crime? And if it was to be used for crime, we'd have to remove it from default tools and make it purchasable.

I was meaning more grafiti wise. If I'm reading this right 'Crime Enabled' is an option players have to break laws right? Like running over people only when crime enabled. If I have that right I  was thinking that if crime was enabled you could graffiti buildings. leave your mark (though on big bricks that would be quite messy.

Yeah, and while it could be fun messing up other people's builds, I don't want to do this for three reasons:

1. CityRPG needs more emphasis on building. Letting people muss up your work creates an even more acidic environment for builders.
2. I'd need to hotwire the trust system and that will be messy.
3. There's no reward except schadenfreude.
