Good job komp,I'm thinking your working on a save that has multiple saves put into one?

God damn it Kompressor, I need to change my pants.

ooooooooooh!!

so i cant really tell, are those lights dynamic?

Beautiful except that the dynamic lights still don't look so hot... unless it's just the picture.

You are blind, they are way smoother than they have ever been. They are a little hot (too bright so they are blowing out the scene in places). -- kompressor

I was referring to the lights in the tunnel, they only show on the side walls.

Underside of brick is a little dark and the angle is bad. I assure you they are emitting light to underside of ceiling. -- kompressor

If I build a roof over a building would it be dark inside after this update? I'm kind of confused about what this does other than better shadows and such.

Look at the picture I just posted. -- kompressor

THE SHADOWS ON THE SIDES

OH GOD

Are there any terrain generators that make SMOOTH block terrains? Like, one that you can drive a jeep over?

so brick lights don't have shadows?

Since there are potentially hundreds of lights in a map, no. We might eventually allow a few shadow casters but there are other things to tackle first. Even one shadow caster makes a huge difference. -- kompressor

kom, could you render that one pic that used to be on blockland.us with the dragon statue in the middle of the pond.  Do you know which one I am talking about?

No. -- kompressor

The new screenshot looks the best yet!  Nice work!

Vehicles are even buggier than terrain and interiors.  They have never really had reliable brick collision.  I personally hope they are going to be continued to be phased out in favor of these new "bot" vehicle things.

However, even bot vehicles and terrain really do go together like peas in a pod.  I can't imagine a server focused around vehicles to do as well with a brick built terrain.  I don't want to run the risk of getting deleted for talking about vehicles instead of terrain, so I'll just leave it at that.

Building on that idea of terrain blocks, do you think you guys will be fixing the vehicle collision bugs?

See new FORBIDDEN TOPIC in the OP:

Vehicle collision.

Sorry, you guys gotta save it for another thread. I will delete posts about vehicle collision from now on.

The new picture is amazingly amazing. :o
