What would you recommend for stretches and training etc.? Parkour looks cool and fun, but I also need to just have some basic physical activity; my parents want me to do some sport and nothing really looks interesting or worth it.
These probably aren't the best stretches but this is what I do:
Toe-touches, move on to grabbing your legs and holding that if this gets too easy
Some arm stretch where I put my elbow on my back and try to touch the back of my head
Split stretches, don't push yourself too far or your muscles could tear and that feels terrible for weeks
Quads; stand on one foot, holding one leg. Doing this with your eyes closed really tests your balance lol
And then I just stand and tense up all of my muscles for a few seconds
And as for some training:
As said in the OP don't lift weights unless the weight you're lifting is yourself, ie pullups or pushups, one-handed pushups really work a lot of the muscles you'd use in pk and practices balance
Learn PK roll
Bone and muscle conditioning realllyyy helps with impacts and endurance
..and stuff in Rave's post should be helpful to you
Back in my day we played through the pain and we lived off hot pockets and coke and we thanked god for all of it without complaint.
