vehicles should be done like in a ripped off lego digital designer.
it can be a second "game" to play from the main menu. it should have like dozen different preset base-bricks with wheels already attached. and you simply build on it using the normal bl palate. seats are predetermined with a hitbox to preserve space for avatars.

once done, it should be auto saved as a static vehicle model, and be able to be used in game.

yes.
pieces should be able to be blown off
yes, with the brick physics we have now, i would not mind this.

Hopefully interactive. Imagine the new lighting being used as headlights / signals. I don't think this would be too hard to do. Look what happens when you blow a wheel off of a car in game. It is solid as a rock until a wheel is somehow remounted. Once clicked, the wheels should mount and the car cannot be edited after this.

If you look at Lego Universe, they just open a window to design a vehicle. You design it, then its yours in game.

In Blockland, you should be able to use a hotkey to open a secondary window, and using default bricks, design a car. Once done, your car will spawn and you are set to go. Because they are default bricks, no one downloads anything.

"node" bricks for wheels and seats. build vehicle on construction plate then hit with wand. Would allow you to build with others

build vehicle on construction plate then hit with wand
I accidentally my entire build.

I would like to get kompressors input on this. I think a lot of people would be happy to know they can build vehicles. It would definitely fill in the terrain gap, as the entire game would be focused on bricks and events rather than models.

Man that'd be so great. :c  If only.

I think it's worth pursuiting. It's a widely desired feature and it fits perfectly with the all brick theme of the game.

Now, about those guns...

I actually thought way before this update that Blockland needed a bit of a style update.  The terrain just didn't fit into the game well and it made everything look cheap.  I always thought brick built builds looked amazing and had a really nice style, but anything with terrain around it looked old.

I sent kompressor a message about this. Hopefully he can shed some light (pun) on this.

If we were able to mount bricks and move them around without the bricks snapping to the grid(once picked up), buildable weapons would be easy to do. If we had buildable vehicles or weapons, the entire game would be based off of bricks, with the exception of the Blockhead itself.
