Realistic lighting + less fun
Moar fun

ok im Loling how this turned from v20+v21 to "Dear Diary, my OP was awesome"

If we were able to mount bricks and move them around without the bricks snapping to the grid(once picked up), buildable weapons would be easy to do. If we had buildable vehicles or weapons, the entire game would be based off of bricks, with the exception of the Blockhead itself.
v23 = buildable blockheads. :cookieMonster:

I hate and love the idea of buildable weapons

If and when the new vehicle physics come out I'm so going to make Jeep Soccer/Football.

i expect bloko-technic by v25

demand it...

Wow, the poll is extremely bias

not really. apparently these noobs like graphics more than the game obviously if they would rather have realistic lighting over more fun.

terrains look like some 1998 stuff.

when blocland hasnt retired as a game yet and in full support from the dev, there is no reason to let it age.

do people seriously consider terrains and interiors 'fun'

i don't see how they're 'fun'

can someone who understands this explain that to me, because i seriously have no idea how

i'm being serious

Interiors, not so much fun.

I found terrain fun to drive around on and stuff, but that's it really.

i mean what fun does terrain/interior itself provide that bricks can't

if you say anything related to 'brick limit' or 'being able to drive on it' i'll asfkjajhfs

Interiors are really easy to recreate with bricks, and now with the Terrain Bricks I don't think there's a problem.

The brick limit is kind of an issue, but not a big one considering that most people I know get a playable framerate at high brick-counts.

and also the brick limit is pretty bloody high, and i've only ever hit it by doing tons and tons of huge img2bricks.

those are the 2 main points. driving will be solved but brick terrain, without support for floating bricks, will take up so much bricks if you want to build a whole world with it. i suggested a fix to this

i believe minecraft uses a system to allow the saving/loading of a ton "terrain". hopefully we will see something like this in the future so we can build far apart kingdoms and such without having to manage on such a large scale.

the very fact people have to defend those two specifically means to me that those are the only two things that would be sacrificed

what you suggested would be a nice solution but sadly i doubt it'd happen :(

minecraft is completely different from blockland as far as how it 'works' goes so i don't think you should be comparing it
