Yep
Server's down!
Big thanks to Cap for setting things up.

Snick0rz's Sum-Up:

  • Stuff
  • A green apache layed some suppressing fire around Gammaton and leaves.
  • A grey apache appears and shoots around.
  • A green apache appears to battle it and leave.
  • The grey pilot is nearly captured but slipped away.
  • A grey chopper goes to get him.
  • (???) The pilot was successfully picked up. (???)

More plot-relevant stuff would be appreciated.

Not too sure if the pilot was picked up. Anyways, the grey's got their heads out for us anyways, so.

Man...

I always miss good stuff...

:)
But of course, your still one of the few, "Super Admins of the Century"

What what about me >:(

I still have Lee Hanson's PDA, and therefore a way to communicate with the military.
This means we can get food and weapon drops from a military chopper so we can destroy them! >:D

I shot your fuel tank,

Then my leg got blown off.

I am currently looking at the last few pages.

What the hell did I miss?

Though I agree this RP needs to emphasize more "Zombies" instead of Military and Mutalids.

We can also make it so RPers must be afraid of the Zombies, because most people just hit them with a crowbar fearlessly.

Just to say, I never, ever seen in my Bluzone RPing time a massive Zombie Event.

Blame the players. Back in the first Bluzone (Yup, here I go again. Another somewhat-nostalgia rant, you can skip over this post if you want, friend.) there were no big events or anything. There were no popular survivors or anything that were noticed more than others. It was just a simple role-play where the setting was a city struck by the zombie apocalypse.

People would make up their character, go on the server with their friends - or even make some new ones. Then they would just role-play in a normal believable fashion. Nothing too ridiculous or anything. It's exactly what it was. A role-play in a zombie apocalypse. Nobody complicated anything, the only trouble there ever was, was the occasional person who would break the rules.

There was barely any story - apart from the small mini-story that was scattered around the map. But other than that, no story. People would just have some good 'ol fashioned fun, role-playing with each other. I can't describe it that well, maybe someone else or Knaz can - but basically it was just a simple role-play.

The military was only a sort of "punishment" to survivors when they drew too much attention to themselves. They weren't a big part as a lot of you make them out to be now.

Anyways, my point is it's the players that are the problem. You guys complicate things. You are the ones who attempt to fabricate some dramatic story for your characters and the ones surrounding him/her. You are the ones who throw together and form some soap opera situation. You, are the ones who don't focus on the zombies - and instead, shrug them off as a threat because apparently everyone in the Bluzone is the god damned Terminator with 100% accuracy.

I'm not going to speak for the other admins, but we're not going to hold your hand while you role-play. If you don't like that you and your friend aren't role-playing about the zombies, than you do something about it. You're the ones not role-playing it out.

And you guys want more zombie overruns? Okay, we'll force the role-play some more. Oh, and I'm being sarcastic. More zombie overruns when it's not called for just sounds repetitive and forced role-play. Get off your asses and learn how to role-play. Yes, the admins are there to help you with your Bluzone experience, but we're not going to give you some Role-play 101 class in the server. Seriously, this is not even difficult. Go take a look at some of those links Nikki posted - or even start paying attention in English class. Maybe you'll learn something.

Yeah, I may come off a bit mean - not as lenient as the other admins, but tough nuts. You need someone to throw some sand in your eyes once and a while and tell you the blunt truth. Deal with it.

I said one of the Few silly.

You are the 1st place!

And I'm an awesome admin!

:D

We know how to role-play, but you can only do it for so long in the same environment with the same people until it gets boring.
As admins you can either tell us to shut up and deal with it, or you can appeal to our desires, which is what being an admin is about. But whatever, it's your choice.

Personally I think Gammaton ruined it for me. I was really excited when it came out and stuff, but now it's hard to even find people to RP with without wasting half the time we have, which is already miniscule. If the environment changes we don't need new locations. A snowy version of the map (which someone has I think), buildings crumbling and staying fallen, broken pipeline, moving a car, moving sleeping bags, breaking lights, blocking windows, landslides, sinkholes, erosion, and above all, plants that overgrow everything.

I've put my input in on how to help the server
-change weapon damage on zombies and probably change their spawn locations
-have various forms of the build for different times and save after every session for small changes
-more admins and consequentially more hosting. (I'm not so sure if this would be all that good anymore… But it would certainly get people to shut up, and there would be more opportunities to have fun)
You can ignore it but you might lose some fans, or something else…

Nailed it perfectly dude. I'll talk to Kniaz about updating the build to fit what you suggested.

Also, I will never tell anybody to shut up, unless I have to, nor will I tell you to deal with it.
