Author Topic: BlocklandWorld Wiki - That Wiki Where you Write Stuff  (Read 8700 times)

Yes, There is no space for "Brian Smith [8437] is a Blockland Player who makes mods. He also is a scripter for BlockOS. " Because nobody cares. That's not what you go to a wiki for.

Also, don't include pages about custom add-ons either because that's dumb.

Don't allow any pages about users.

If it gets to the point where I can not stay on top of Bias or Vandalism, I will either find another person to become admin or do this.

Brian Smith, as I remember, has actually made some useful add-ons.  I hope that someone will come along and expand the page.

itt: Another bad Blockland wiki.

just don't allow them at all damn

How can you say that you will remove biased articles when every single suggested topic is heavily biased? There is so much bias infact, that I was quite surprised as to how you even know the meaning of the word 'bias'

You mean my choices of who to include in the suggested topics is bias, is that what you're saying?

If so, who should I add/remove to fix this?

EDIT: Relay tutorial.  I have not done the direction ones yet.  Is this a good start?

Remove all player's that aren't extremely important in some way, Badspot, Kompressor, Ephialties (I can never spell that) And make sure it's presented in a non biased way.

I'm working on a tutorial for printcount event, In the couple of ways i can think of.

Also the suggested add-ons and maps' thread. These are biased too, they just don't take it personally

Added a bit of info for the mini-nuke because I was bored.

I would have to get Ragref to agree to do that.

The map section probably is.  I took several default ones and one that I was pretty sure most users would recognize.  I am open to suggestions in that area.

I do not think that the add-on section is bias, please explain your reasoning.

Thanks, Good job.

For the people who don't think that non-developers should not have pages, I agree with you to some extent.  Ragref, however, said this on my talk page earlier.

that was one of the reasons why i created this wiki. players can make pages about themsevles. i hated that you couldnt make pages about your self in the old wiki (which is now filled with research sadly) Ragref 17:19, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

I will do what I can to change his mind.  He seems to be pretty set on keeping it this way.  Any ideas?

Sounds like we have another crappy wiki then, Should i even finish this page i'm typing up?

Players aren't necessary, and this is coming out forced.  Let it start with the basics (bricks, items, events) and then branch out into more and more detail about them (BLB format, bots, weapons, relays, etc.).

If it gets to the point where I can not stay on top of Bias or Vandalism, I will either find another person to become admin or do this.
Don't wait. Just do it. For every good reason you can think of to have pages about individual players there are about five good reasons to get rid of them.
