Author Topic: should i start using metric units instead of imperial  (Read 2805 times)

The temperature scale isn't that crazy. At the time when it was made, 0°F was the lowest temperature that could be found. In a sense, Fahrenheit tried to make an absolute 0 scale. And the increments made sense too.

Kelvin.

Use Imperial or suffer the wrath of the Emperor.

Uk confuses me, We use them both.

I've been using Imperial all my life, and never bitched about it. What's wrong with memorizing a few numbers for the betterment of your life, huh? There, there, everything is going to be alright.

Kelvin.
Kelvin is really only for gases, but it makes the most physical sense in regards to how nature actually functions

imperial is stupid because if you have 5000000 feet you have to type that exact long number
with metric units for 5000000 meters you can just type 5 megameters

947 miles

what if you have 5000000 miles then
26,400,000,000 Feet.

Strange. We often use it on solids and liquids as well on our physics classes.

Use both, it's what Brits do because Brits are best.
