So I spent like four hours waiting for the game to download at a quarter of my normal speed (600 kbps) and patch only to hop onto Ship 2. I was all excited, thinking like 'oh boy I'll get to play with Tails and CC and it'll be just like old times' but then I found out that yesterday they had hit the cap on that ship and you couldn't make any new characters there. So that pissed me off a little bit.
Apparently the English refugee ship was 6 and on block 20 so I figured I'd make a char there, and ended up making a, uh... what is it, RASCEAL? The chick android who shoots stuff. I was really taken aback by the customization capabilities in this game and spent the better part of two hours making myself a character. It was a load of fun, even if it was like playing minesweeper: You didn't know what button did what and when I finished making my first one I accidentally hit the 'randomize everything' button near the end. That... was a surprise.
I think it's a really cool game so far, even if I can't understand a damn thing anyone is saying. It looks really good, it plays really well, and I had loads of fun just killing monsters in the tutorial and trying to find out how to combo. I actually got it down quickly, so I'm a little proud of myself. I can't wait for the English patch.
