"demanded a Refund"
Is the problem. You can't get a refund from them.
Unless you're me. I was able to refund Half-Life with my way of words. :D

Quote from: OP
I have purchased your Fallout 2 game with my birthday gift card (non reloadable) and frankly i am angered. the game is broken and sloppy. Color issues litter the GUI and cinematics. And i dont feel like ruining the visuals even more in a different way to get rid of color issues and i REFUSE to repurchase a game i already have from GOG.com.

Update your game to GOG's version or remove the game from your database. I demand a refund on this game.
So you're not mad, huh?

if you misread, i'm not mad at anyone here. i was angered at steam for not fixing Fo2 at the time i made that email.

It's fine. I feel alot of people in this thread have Derped.

Good luck getting Valve to fix the game Black Isle produced.
and the refund stuff too,

I know two simple fixes for Fallout 2. First go to your Fallout 2 shortcut on your desktop, create one if you haven't done so.

1.Go to properties, then compatibility. Check run as Admin, run compatibilty for windows 95 or xp, then choose run in 256 colors and 640 x 480. Now launch the game and while the screen is black and blank quickly right click then left click. Now your game should be fine. If the colors break again restart the game and right and left click again.

2.Should step 1 fail or isn't viable you will want to right click on your desktop -> screen resolution -> advanced settings -> monitor -> change True color(32 bit) to High color (16 bit) -> hit apply then accept the change -> play the game. Should this not work change it back to 32 bit and apply then change back again to 16 bit until the colors correct themselves.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for dismissing all my posts i've made.

Try my two solutions damnit.

Also pre purchases can be cancelled because you've never been able to get the games data.
What are you expecting? You've signed a legally binding agreement saying you don't get refunds and you can't demand updates.
And if you want to fix it do what harm said. Or i believe you can run it in dosbox.
