That seems to be caused by pretty much anything. Even placing down a brick floods my console.
Because the shader is trying to shade a blinking light, and it cant(Due to poor gc).

That's the error.

I get the "no lights installed!" error but I don't have Intel.

Do you have a fairly poor GC?

I guess this only happens if your computer cant run them, even if they are on high. (When you have it on any setting other than off, and when your computer cannot run them, this happens)

Crashing when I change shader settings from off to anything. Console log:

I can not see the ghost bricks of anything in the 4x catagory. I can not show proof since nothing would be in console log and if i posted a picture you would not see anything (proof but it would look like i have not even tried laying down a ghost). Anyone else have this?
nvm works now

Hey guys,

I am also having the problem of shadows & shaders not showing up in game, but I don't have an Intel Graphics Driver (or any intel-based hardware that I am aware of). I am running a very nice Macintosh, pretty new (2011), and I can run all other settings in Blockland on their highest without the slightest hint of a FPS drop.

My console.log is posted bellow, but I'll paste a few bits that relate to shadows and shaders first.

Quote
OpenGL driver information:
  Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
Renderer: ATI Radeon HD 4850 OpenGL Engine
  Version: 2.1 ATI-8.0.51

The button extents for the main menu seem to be inaccurate. I can select the "Options" though my mouse is far to the right of it, and I can select "Player" when my mouse is only a little bit to the right. Not a big issue, just thought I'd bring it up.

I have the same issue with AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256 MB.

Hm.

It seems that the 3d effect the shaders causing the problems found above?

Hm.

That could be... Can you think of any reason why my computer wouldn't be able to render these 3d effects? I can run lots of other games with 3d shaders...

I have a graphics card with 2GB and I still cannot run it. It is a AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon 4200, with approx. 1915 MB of memory. How is it possible I cannot run this?

How come majority of people have Laptops holy crap lol, I never noticed this.
Does not solve my problem. :\

I cannot plant a 2x4 brick.
it instantly becomes "killed" when planted

console log > http://www.4shared.com/file/h6-ZbFtx/console.html?

(file was too large to upload)

Bug: doesn't look like it has been reported, didn't see it in the OP

The player now plays the brick planting animation every time servercmdplantbrick is called, whether or not they successfully planted a new brick or if they even have a ghost brick.

Also, the transparent brick rendering bugs aren't getting added to the list.  Do they not matter enough? They make for some ugly windows and annoying derendering problems.

Thats a problem with the tutorial package being enabled, try restarting and making sure that all the tutorial stuff is disabled

I also posted this issue in the RTB thread assuming it was RTB only... hadn't tried it in blockland, but it turned out to be that way ingame, aswell.  Quoting:
Edit: if you cannot see the issue, the text is much lower than it should be.
Readdressing with more screencaps (the text issue occurs in any area which I can type in)

The console log shows absolutely nothing irregular, and if it's needed for any booting specs, it's listed in the quote of the quote.

I do have a HD Intel graphics card, so do 50 % of BL users.

Are you going to fix this badspot?
