Observation about the Light Bug. I also can't see rays. They look like they want to come through, but they don't.

I cannot see the new shaders and shadows. My DxDiag is attached.
Did you enable them in Options

having an extremely odd glitch with floors. taking out the paint can and sometimes using ghost bricks causes the ground to glow in first person only.

for this reason i've been stuck just disabling floors every time i play, lest i have a seizure. i don't see any reports of it here, so i dunno how/why the heck that happens.
i should also note that this happens on all detail levels.

can ATI Radeon HD 4200 + AMD Athlon II X2 3.00GHz Dual Core handle the shaders, because i get a considerable amount of lag when i put it on mininum

The player now plays the brick planting animation every time servercmdplantbrick is called, whether or not they successfully planted a new brick or if they even have a ghost brick.

We can still do the brick moving animations even though we have no ghost brick.

Im going to look at some files in blockland to see if I can get a clue for this light problem thing.

  • I didn't find anything really in the shaders but there might be something there if badspot missed it.
EDIT2: I just looked at 'common' and
#extension GL_EXT_texture_array : enable
ok so this might not be causing it but still if its an extension what if people arent getting it correctly?

The ground lights up when I press "Q" to select a tool and depending on the level in my inventory depends on the level the ground is "glowed". Pics:

I didn't take time to read lots of other posts but I did read the OP and I didn't see this on there (unless my eyes missed it)


I appear to have found a rather major bug.
Whenever I start a server, whatever gamemode it is the graphics are rather glitchy, But after I equip an Item  the glitches go away.
This is on my stuff laptop, but I'm concerned for other users.

Yeah but he said it happens all the time. If I remember, that problem was rare pre-update. This has been happening to him a lot since the update. It's still something that can be looked into.

by the way, do those cast shadows?
just curious lol
