This is an atrocious idea.
Unfortuneately, bad pr is still good pr, if you're trying to get noticed

No one is gonna pass us a yes-vote if they hate us.

Is Blockland available in different languages?

Non-English language settings would certainly be a playerbase boost.

I don't want a bunch of russian people running around speaking russian.

Its not about tolerance, its about acceptance.

Regardless, it shouldn't matter.

If Russians go around speaking russian, then that's fine.
The English and Americans go around speaking English.
If people with different languages want to play the game, they should be allowed to, and they should be allowed to speak their own language. If you don't like them doing so on your server, then remove them. If you don't like them doing so on their server, don't join their server.

Putting off international players is a stupid thing.
This game is interesting on a universal standard. The ability to enjoy building games or sandbox games is not something restricted to English speakers.

If the game goes big in other countries and people with other languages buy the game, it's still more money for badspot and Blockland. Just don't hang out with them if you dislike them or their language.

Leave it for Sir Dooble to make a joke into a serious discussion.

im russian so i guess i could translate some stuff if badspot adds multi-language capabilities

I could've sworn we had a client sided translator for English -> Russian and visa verca.

That wasn't a translator.
There is an add-on that detects the language of messages and translates them to English though.

:I

russian still applys

you claimed there was a publicly released purely client-sided add-on which translated messages from Russian to English
there was a released add-on which lets you *type* in Russian by prefixing your message with > and replacing letters with specific images, though
