Something that annoys me about the beacon map is that you don't know how the stars link together. There have been a couple times where I thought the star I was jumping to would go to the next one, but ended up being a dead end. If there were some faint lines or something that might be cool. Also, does anyone know if they've said anything about dlc or just future patching?

I get raped every time I get boarded.

Open all airlocks and evacuate to the medbay, I found that this works pretty well. For droids you better go for the droidcontrol system before it gets its claws on your systems.

Did I not just say I had Beacon Paths on? Go to Options and turn that on.

thanks for the tip

Tip 2: If there's a ship with a crew teleporter with the option of attacking and not attacking, choose the not attacking option. (ONLY DO THIS IF YOU SUCK AND YOUR HULL IS CRIT)

Mantis ship boarding my Engi. lolnope.

dude. everybody is lik 'hurp derping boarders op' it is SO simple to just walk to your medibay and open up the rest of the rooms to the oxygen (there's a button in the bottom right that does it for you, the opening of the airlocks is manual though. and they automatically funnel into your medbay (the ai of borders is stay in rooms with air).

even if your engi suck at fighting the enemies are still 100% outmatched against you in your own medbay.

Yeah. The problem is that I get the door upgrade every single time I don't get boarded.

Also, air takes a strangely long amount of time to vent in my experience. This gives boarders time to blow your shield unit, drone control or fire control to stuff, aka the only things keeping you alive, especially with the engi ship.
