What exactly is the motivation behind trying to inflate your ego and the supposed reputation of a service after it shut down?
...A refund... WAIT WHAT IF I DONATED?
Yeah I wasn't trying to do that at all, just saying that hosting yourself from your home connection isn't going to match the service quality, nothing more! Get over yourself.
Then perhaps you'd like to recommend an alternative? You sorta demolished the competition.
With the Steam release, we were hoping for access to a larger client base to enable us to provide more reliable service with the additional income. Unfortunately it's been two months and we're still having to turn away all Steam users because there's no way for them to authenticate their dedicated servers without a key. This lack of interest and co-operation from Blockland makes it too hard to justify our continued efforts to provide an excellent service under these circumstances so we've opted to refocus our attention on some other indie game communities instead. To be frank, having to deal with a completely ambivalent development team when we're providing such a high quality professional level of service to a community is insulting and not something we're interested in continuing to do.

Maybe we (ATF) will host again for some people, like we did a few years ago.And YES we got a good conection:Our host is Hetzner.deOur Server:http://www.hetzner.de/en/hosting/produkte_rootserver/ex40Speedtest result of our server:http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3292286288Only downside is the 100ms ping for US users because we host in germany.
Weren't all your servers forced to have the "ATFclan.eu" title?
