Author Topic: RTB Dedicated Hosting Service - Service Closing  (Read 361034 times)

Why would they tell me those things lol? I pay for unmanaged services, not managed.
Our monitoring server lost touch with NY02 for approx 30 minutes and appears to have been caused by a network disruption. A reason for outage is currently being obtained from our provider and any clients on NY02 will receive a contract extension of 1 day to make up for this brief outage.

Apologies for the issue.

Oh lol, forgot to check out that ticket, give me 10 mins.

Network problem with an upstream provider in the mix, nothing that can be done about that. I imagine the problematic routes will have been dropped and the traffic swiftly rerouted via different, maybe slightly less efficient routes.

Gosh, if only your host didn't use sub-par transits!

Who is his provider?

Also, Lub or Ephialtes, I always use saved versions of ADD_ON_LIST for enabling stuff depending on what I host; if I transplant all of my current add-ons to the server and then also transplant the ADD_ON_LIST I want to use to the config/server map, would that work?

When I upload my own add-ons to the addons folder using internet explorer, it doesn't work, but it does when using Google Chrome. What's up with that?

Why use that turtle browser in the first place?

Probably because they either didn't test it with that piece of stuff (I don't blame them) or the piece of stuff doesn't work, period.

in short, IE is stuff.
