I can't believe this makes people want to relax gun laws. Let's think about this for a moment, there would be so many more accidental shootings. I can just imagine a group of kids getting hold of their parent's guns and having a "pretend" gun fight, one of them doesn't realise the safety is off..
People saying things like "oh if more people had guns, people would be less likely to risk their lives by attempting a mass shooting", most of the people that go on these rampages end up killing themselves anyway, they would simply kill as many people as they could before they too are shot, and if there's a large crowd of people, no one is going to notice someone pulls out a pistol until it's too late.
However, if public use of guns was made illegal, then it would be so much more difficult to get hold of a gun, shootings would be less likely to take place.
If you were smart you would teach a kid firearms safety and to never use a gun as a toy or pull the trigger randomly. If I was a guy who watched the news then I would be like lets ban forks and spoons because too many people are dieing from obseity, and cellphones because stupid people keep texting and driving, and cars boy all the car accidents and pollution they give off is bad for the earth. Also lets get rid of alcohol, beer has no redeeming properties and damages people livers and causes birth deffects in babies. See how ignorant I sound?
You know in mexico guns are illegal in Mexico and yet people still have them?
Many drugs used for recrational use are illegal in the us and many of these guys can easily get a hold of such items. Don't take your rage out at the gun owners. It was the act of some stupid kid who believed in the 2012 doomsday theory. Get rid of the all the mentally ill, religous zealots, and those crazy wack jobs called doomsday preppers and you have a better looking United States. Also I agree there are some people who aren't responsible to own guns and we don't need more of them however that doesn't mean we should get rid of them completely, but like I said there are responsible people who obey the law, then there are those who only wish to seek havoc and disregard the law. The media has some of you thinking gun crimes are going up and murder is the biggest problem in the us. Infact it is not murder that is the biggest crime in the us, but white collar crime is actually commited more than murder.
