No idea what half of what you said actually means, is there a wrapper on the BL process or not? "Sift through a list of the hosts clients" - what the forget are you on about?
The blockStar Server Client (that hosts run) is a GUI where the host will add clients locally.

The Server Client runs down a database of those clients, waiting for someone to request their server be booted.

The blockStar mod does this somewhat similarly, however, only focuses on it's assigned client. The server is shutdown via the mod.

If that's not what you're asking, you need to be a lot clearer.

I'm being very clear. If I pay you to provide a management panel for my server on a "personal" plan, do you require a wrapper to spawn the BL process? Haven't things being fail binned in the past for being a closed source exe, if advertising via this forum, perhaps you need to consider open sourcing the wrapper?

How else would I get a process to start without a wrapper of some sort? The wrapper will not be offered via this website, and therefore cannot be fail binned. It will be located at all times in the Server Host's web "Control Panel" tab.

I would still make it cheaper or a one time payment, not really worth $3.50 a month, all it is is management, like seriously.

Panel looks nice. 4/5

Management is a very very very slimmed down way to describe blockStar. In fact, it's so slim that it's partially inaccurate. It's also a great moderation tool. It's a constant camera on your server even when you're not there. Plus, the Public Chat Log release can save your servers reputation in the event of a drama. If you'd prefer hosting, then you can do that. I can't stop you. Hopefully your host will some day have blockStar support.

$3.50 is a VERY small price to pay for what you get.

Wtf. blockStar is loving management. Administration Management and server. I was perfectly accurate.

As I said. No ones paying you 3 loving dollars a month for a management tool. As I said RTB and Kaphost(Soon) offer this for 2 dollars more a month, plus a high performance server.

Jeep, will you offer some sort of one-time-payment license? I understand it would cost significantly more, but would you?

That's where you're wrong:

Neither RTB nor Kaphost will be focusing as much on their management service as blockStar would. With blockStar, you get a much more featured management system, which is the intent behind blockStar. Not everyone wants to have their server hosted for them, so why would they? I could offer this for .50 cents and people would still complain that it doesn't offer hosting, and for a mere 5.50 more, you could have hosting. blockStar is not for people who want their server hosted. If you want their server hosted, and blockStar, tell your host to invest in blockStar support.

And please don't give me the "no one is going to pay" garbage. I have people breathing down my neck to subscribe to blockStar. They understand the 2 biggest concepts of blockStar:
-DIY Platform
-Not hosting

There will (probably - price could change) be a 6 month subscription for 3.20 a month. It's $19.20 up front, and after that, it's yours.

You are hopeless. $19 bucks? Pfft. no.

So, what keeps someone from signing up for a month and then just keeping the software?

Software takes a lot of time and effort to make.

Just take it for free, Glass. Because that really shows that you appreciate the work. Thanks for the support.

They need the web portal for anything to work. Everyone can have the software. It just won't work without an account.

Your 'business plan' seems to be a mess. Like. Not worked out at all. "They can buy it for $19 a month, but choose to do monthly as well" wtf. Like. seriously. Your finance plan seems to be really screwed up.

19 a month? I said 19$ for 6 months. That's very fair. I never go into a business opportunity blind. I always go in knowing what to expect.

I thought you said $19 one time payment. Never mind on that.
