Yeah, for any build over about $600 you'll want to invest a bit in a case that will suitably protect your components. Should be spending at least $100 on it if you're at the $1.5k budget.

Eh, I don't really see why. Aside maybe from the lack of a PSU dust filter, this case is good enough. You may need to add an exhaust fan to the side panel to keep the GPU's nice and cool, but that's about it.

Well, he did originally have a $200 case, so I'd say getting a good case is pretty important to him.

I just realised something. Instead of complaining about the 900 series just coming out after getting my card, i could just buy another Asus GTX 780 instead because of the price drop, AND give someone the spare borderlands: pre sequel key.

Im thinking about it, but i don't know if i want to spend $300 just yet.

Does anyone here have an Enthoo Pro, NZXT S340, and/or a Corsair 450D? These are the cases I'm looking at asking for for Christmas, but I can't decide which one I want.

I like that the Enthoo Pro and S340 has the PSU cover, but I absolutely love the looks of the 450D. I'm afraid the looks might be ruined though when I put a 5.25" disk drive in the front, because of the way it looks like it's designed. :/

My NZXT S340 just arrived. After I take a look at it and build my comp I'll tell you if I recommend it or not.

i have these usb ports on the top of my case
if i get a different case will i have to drill holes to fit the usb holes or what

its great
only problem is the front panels stick out in the middle so im going to superglue them so they stay in place
