well the closer to zero the better right?

I once had a thumb drive that was 60% fragmented.

my comp defrags my ssd everytime i restart.
it takes about 6 seconds and im sure its skips most of it. but it still gives it a try.

I'm fairly certain that you're not supposed to defrag SSD's, I dunno how true it is but I heard it in one of Linus's videos on SSD's if you want to go find it

well its unnecessary to. and usually apps refuse to if you try. but one of my apps does it on restart.

Would a dedicated sound card be a massive waste of money?

Would a dedicated sound card be a massive waste of money?
pretty much yeah

Kinda. Your mobo ports prob equals 100 dollar equivalent soundcard anyway. If you have 5.1 your good enough

i was gonna wait for the evga 980 classifieds

but...

990's are going to be expensive, right?

well you can. the performance gain is miniscule at best. and it shortens the life of it so they dont recommend it because youre losing more than youre gaining

and it shortens the life of it

Which is why I thought you weren't supposed to defrag them

Bumping thread with my latest build update.  Thanks to bisjac for selling me his H105 and finally getting me the AM3+ plates, I could finish this system up a bit more

How do you like that cpu cooler?
