i don't think they'll cover that because it wasn't a problem with the power supply itself

It doesn't have to be a manufacture problem, if you have a warranty than the'll replace it as long as you haven't voided the warranty

Is there literally nowhere else you can put your computer to keep it out of the smoke?

Put some kind of filter over all the holes.

I live in a 2 bedroom trailer and I live in the living room, with the heater soo no.

Don't have a filter.

The PC was moved to another location until I get a new PSU, when I get the new PSU I'm going to keep the PC covered when not in use or if I'm in bed (which is always when the heater gets lit inside causing smoke)

Does Microsoft have any plans on re-adding aero glass to windows 8 since the metro theme is god awful?

Can a radeon 7950 run far cry 3 at maximum settings?

Yeah, RMA doesn't cover damage directly or indirectly caused by the user

If I have a warranty can I send it back and get a new one?

Probably wouldn't hurt to get a filter as well.

Probably not. They might fix the VS for Windows 9 now that the old design team has been fired, but I doubt they'll do anything about 8. There's always this, but I haven't tried it myself: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/163725-aero-glass-for-win8-12/

Anyway, I went out and bought the 760 and holy stuff is it an improvement. I haven't really tried much gaming yet since I did a complete reinstall of Windows at the same time, but it runs Unigine Heaven at max settings, which my GTS250 could barely handle at medium-low. It also has the added benefit of not sounding like a vaccum cleaner.

If my 7770 can, then it'd bet all my stuff that a 7950 could.

My package is delayed until who knows when
gg ups

Well, performance depends on resolution, so you can't really make that comparison

I have about a 1k$ price range I would like parts to build a pc The best you can for gaming.
(if possible try to include a GTX 660Ti or better).
