Author Topic: [MEGATHREAD] Personal Computer - Updated builds thanks to Logical Increments  (Read 1630659 times)

I've realized that, in my adventure to figure out if I wanted a PS4 or Xbox One that the only logical choice would be to just build a PC.

The costs will eventually even out (Pretty much) and the PC will be good for my video editing and game capturing.
So with the job I will be getting (hopefully) Im going to start saving money over the summer that way maybe as a birthday gift to myself Ill build my own PC.

I love you.

Pretty excited. So I think Im going to stop buying games for my xbox, and start figuring out stuff to sell to help raise money.
I usually never post reaction pictures but...

HNNNNNNNNNNNNG
SO EUPHORIC!

I'm probably also going to have to get a job this summer. I'm probably going to give it a go to build a computer, I don't exactly trust myself though :S

I got my NZXT Hue installed after getting frustrated that it took 10 days to get it processed I cancelled my order and went it got it from MicroCenter and as well at the same time two Corsair AF140 fans.

I recorded a video demonstrating colors and modes in my case:

Picture for the lazy

what case is that?

what case is that?

The inside is unpainted, so its bad and irrelevant.

Since when is overclocking a processor a science fair project?

Don't worry, I'm clumsy as forget and I did it just fine. It's like building a lego structure, except if you handle the pieces wrong they might break.

driving is better on consoles, due to the joystick. shooting is better on computers, due to the mouse.
Or you could buy a steering wheel for the pc

i did, now driving on my pc is awesome. :P

Is it generally a bad idea to overclock a GPU with stock coolers/fans?  I'm just curious, I'm scared to do any kinda overclocking of my system.

I think my psu is dead, after turning it off to avoid smoke from being sucked in. I turned it off after waking up to the heater smoking like crazy again so I shut off my pc, but when I went to turn it back on it wouldn't power on except just for a couple of seconds. Now it won't work at all... I'm having it blown out asap, is it a possibility that soot may have caused a issue?
