i really want to play these games and im lazy.

also, the psu is really bottlenecking with the gpu, amd recommends 500 watts.

... the HD 7770 draws around 80 watts...

They do that for safety, since you have other components in your PC or if you want to overclock. 400 watts is enough.

why would you need to overclock with radeon hd 7770?

take a really good guess.

it took 2 seconds for my mind to come up with the correct answer.

Why not? Better performance.

you can overclock any card to get better performance. considering 7770 isn't too great people might want to do it to get a little extra boost out of it.

recommend a GPU to go with the intel core i5 2400s processor

i use a 7770 and i can run all games on max and crysis 3 on max apart from a few things like water and anti aliasing and stuff like that...

wait a month and get quad 8990s

what's your price range

so .. not max .. lol

also I doubt you're running in 1080p because Crysis 3 on max at 1080p would melt your 7770

I say that because 1080p is really all that matters when talking performance.

yep, running in 1080p

to me 720p and 1080p look the same lol.

yep, running in 1080p

so you're either not getting a solid 60 FPS or not running on max (meaning everything at the highest) because it would melt a 7770

either way 7770 isn't high-end which was my point, so it makes sense to OC it so you get a bit more performance.

hes running it on "max" with all the demanding stuff turned off.
it makes sense hes getting a good framerate.
