that's not that bad of a thing, my HD 6870 drivers do that stuff sometimes, not that big of a deal. AMD drivers y'know

plus if the rest of your computer is stuff (which I'm assuming it is since you're using integrated) then there's no point in getting a 660 right now
That's the reason i'm buying a GTX Titan. Got tired of these errors about 1 a month with my 7850.

so you're getting an overkill card that you'll never use the potential of instead of overclocking a 670, and when you don't have enough power you can sli it (around the same power as a 690, by the way) for like $600 less?

good idea there

Moneys not really a issue.

In that case can I have some?

The OEM version of windows 7 is for fine personal builds right?

yep, should be

Build it during the summer, you won't have school then, you'll have time to build it, and you might even be able to work a summer job for a while and get some better parts.
I already have the money. Im just debating if i should go with a 690 now or wait until the new cards.

afaik, nvidia hasn't announced anything for their new cards, so it's probably fine to get a 690 now

Also, is it worth grabbing a GeForce GTX 650 Ti to upgrade from my 7770? It's pretty cheap on amazon.
Is this worth it?

Doesn't seem like an upgrade to me. I wouldn't do it.

GeForce GTX 650 Ti offers the best performance at its price point, with average frame rates that outclass the Radeon HD 6850. The Radeon HD 7770 is beaten even more soundly. Conservative power, heat, and noise measurements make the card easy to live with and build an entry-level gaming system around, too.

I think you should get a better upgrade than that. Unless you can trade in your 7770 for the 650 somehow, it's not really worth it for you to purchase another graphics card that does a bit better than your current one. If I were deciding between the 7770 and the 650 in a rig, I would choose the 650. However, if I had a rig that already had a 7770 I would save up for something nicer

I have a 7850 and it never did that

also speaking of videocards what is the best thermal paste for them

I want a nice gaming computer that can run Portal 2 at max settings, but isn't overly priced or bigger than the hp pavillion p6510y
