Also I was looking at the 600 range GPU, it was discontinued and no longer for sale, might want to look at that.

Anyway, another computer thing came up. In September my dad is getting some money, he told me that I can have a PC in the $500-600 range.

depends. if it's from, like, craigslist, then some parts could be broken. otherwise, it's clearly amazing.

all parts are used lol, but gpu, mobo, case, and ram are all in working condition and from a friend, idk about ssd,psu and cpu doe

Don't see why you'd use classic shell.  It really just gives you XP features.  Win8 does everything XP did anyway.  If you're worried about the new start menu, get over it.  It's literally the same thing, just fullscreen.
