you cannot overclock on that motherboard. either get a Z87 mobo or get the cheaper, locked version of the cpu.
and I still feel queezy about the ssd

My brother wants the computer to be as fast as possible. We both agreed to keep the SSD.

got an awesome n61jq ASUS :)

had it for 3 years and still runs every game i can think of without a problem

learn how to search properly, my whole page is filled with questions and answers

That search doesn't tell me if applications will stay installed, and all you had to say was yes or no. Not be all like "go google it". It was a simple yes or no question.

Correct. If the migration process goes swimmingly, all of your files, settings, and applications will be maintained.
Thank You!

Both of you agreeing doesn't count for much if neither of you are experts at computers. I'm not saying any of us are, but for the same amount of money as you would spend on an SSD you could vastly increase your graphical power (and make the computer much more "fast as possible" than with an SSD)

So I finally got around to overclocking my RAM to its speed, my RAM was under clocked at DDR3 1333 when I bought 1600, I was in my bios today and saw it and remembered I been needing to overclock it to 1600. Anyway, will I notice any performance boosts from this?

I don't think RAM overclocking improves a whole lot. Probably a very insignificant fraction better.

Already googled with, no results for my issue.

So I keep getting something called ScorpianSaver, some piece of stuff ad ware, I uninstalled it about 10 times now and it keeps re-installing onto my google chrome and to my computer, causing a few programs (such as steam, chrome, etc) to have their text randomly turned into a ad, please help me. Every time I uninstall this stuff it comes back after awhile.

So far I did full scans with Malwarebytes Pro and MSE.

Try a system restore

overclocking ram from 1333 to 1600 will probably improve frames by like, 2 FPS

Yea I don't know why people forget that this always happens...
Almost every ram kit has a default xmp profile of 1333mhz, no matter their actual listed speed. The reason for it is for a more stable first boot, and then people are supposed to change it to the correct setting in the bios after that

Could some of you review some PC parts i was thinking of getting to build a new computer?
