I do have a 300 watt PSU lying around that came with my PC, but would that be enough for my setup? I can't really afford anything it's really sad

What's the one you have in your system right now and how old is it?

Windows 7, I still got a disc and than install 10.
Also I need 16Gb ram because after effects and photoshop (not really) litteraly swallow my ram.
My friend has a pc with 32Gigs, loving overkill

Opinions on this cheap af build?
Go to 8 gigs of RAM. I'd also recommend a Western Digital over a Seagate HDD. They're less prone to failure. Also, get a better PSU. Something by XFX or Seasonic, but if those are two much, then I suppose a Corsair CX series would be good. PSUs are a part that can take your entire build out with it should it die; don't skimp on the PSU.

idk george i've had two WDs go in the last year and my seagate is still going strong
also i bought an antec for my server, its been running 24/7 for over a year now and all the capacitors are looking good and it sounds like it did the day i bought it
personal experience i guess

espio you seriously dont need 16gb just for Photoshop or video editing, 8gb is enough.

Looks good, the only thing I'd change is maybe replace the hard drive with a WD Blue and get this RAM instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/team-memory-tdked316g1600hc9dc01
It really doesn't matter that much though, it's still a solid build.
get a better PSU
Corsair CX

I'll stick with 16Gigs.
Anyways, is this better?

Stick with the Antec Earthwatts, it's a much more modern design than the Corsair CX.

Ah
I changed back. I don't think it has much difference but w/e
I think I posted/requested many things here and never bought them but oh boy.
I am so going to buy this. I don't think my mother is going to be happy because I buy like a new pc every year xd.

dont do that
just upgrade over time

dont do that
just upgrade over time
That was what I was planning to do from now.
Like 2 years ago I bought some desktop "for school" (right now my sister is using it)
A year ago I bought a laptop wich I still currently am using.
So yeah

if you're going to upgrade over time It'd be best to invest first in a good motherboard, psu, and a spacious, well-vented case
