I don't really think Tonkka did anything wrong.
First of all it's clear that if you dont want negative responses, don't go on an internet forum where everyone basically is the definition of negative. It was inevitable that someone does not share the same opinion on how most people should react to the death of someone who was cared for.
Second of all he didnt directly disrespect Kitton, and he made some valid points. Of course I know Kitton is upset and hurt by this event, but some people do not see death the same way other people see it. People deal with it differently. It was a little rude to continually call him an starfish after he made it clear he was not trying to "flame" anyone, he was just giving his opinion. That's perfectly okay. Everyone should feel free to share their opinion without being critisized, and if you disagree then that would make you slighty hypocritical because here and in that thread you shared your opinion and he critisized you back.
Anyway the point is that I don't think he meant much harm and it did seem slightly dramatic the way Kitton worded it. I'm sorry for your loss Kitton, hopefully he is in a very happy place now.
