Yes, but before being corrected, i assumed there was a Rainbow Road in all of the Mario Kart games, so it would make sense that 8 would have one as well, and thus be no reason to worry about such things

He means that Ayxrion originally said that he wants Mario Kart 8 to have the Mario Kart Double Dash Rainbow Road as a retro course. Of course there will be a rainbow road, they always do. But since Mario Kart 7 had SNES Rainbow Road as final retro course, he wants Gamecube Rainbow Road as retro course in Mario Kart 8.
