To be honest I think I'm less annoyed by Starbound being ported to Xbox One in an unfinished state, than I am about there even being the means for unfinished early access to be on Xbox One.
I mean, you pay all that money for an Xbox One, plus Xbox Live and all the other bits to go with your Xbox, and instead of giving you a platter of nicely made and completed games for you to peruse and purchase, they provide you with a trough of experimental slop for you to dive in to, while paying what will surely be a sizable price for games that can't even be guaranteed to be completed.
I know this is the same complaint for early access games on the PC, but it just seems like the PC is at least a better medium for that than a console.
Afterall, it's not so frustrating on a PC when you've got a game that's going to be glitchy and your saves might be wiped with periodic updates because you can atleast tinker with the game and maybe use mods and things.
But on an Xbox I don't really see the reward in playing a game where your saves are likely to be wiped and you'll lose all progress regularly when you can't even play with third-party content or mod the game yourself.
