Played with my brother as a novakid.

After my brother decided to do a quest for someone, he only was given a tiny bit of wheat. Thus what we did was well... We kind of... ...Demolished his house and took all the materials alongside trapping his friend and making a monster kill him.

It's first and foremost a sandbox game, so if you like being able to do whatever you want with a bit of resource collection required (or not if you use mods) then you'll like it

really though the "epic adventure" bullstuff is GETTING IN MY WAY and I can hardly be forgeted dealing with it in my effort to just play a sandbox game

The new update is great and all but I still wish there was more Novakid stuff, like villages and a boss fight.

I'd love a train robbery sorta deal.

doing 2~3 quests for villagers will allow you to recruit them into your crew, where they'll be a stuff-ton more useful

I agree, novakids feel very much tacked on, like it is a mod that someone made but did not feel like adding too much to make it fit in.
I think i have read somewhere that they stated that Novakids are travellers and never stick in one place for too long, but if that is what they are going with i call bullstuff.

They're travelers (no settlements), forgetful (no lore), and distrust outsiders (no quests). By the game's already-established standards, they are very incomplete, and were designed in a way so as to excuse not completing them.
