Author Topic: Humanity's Future - the end?  (Read 120455 times)

TE forces begin to guard Sol as a normal security measure.  DEFCON is raised to 3.

The ship stops firing, realising that it's attack is futile. They send a message to the Neozjwani, apparently demanding how "rebels" to the Khon Empire could obtain such powerful defences.
Detailed scans on the Khonian ship has revealed that it is from another universe.
TE reports said findings to the commander, and notes that in this universe, Humans and Khonians are friends.  In addition, the Neozjwani sends a message of everyday Human-Khonian interaction on multiple social, governance, and research levels.  Messages and research papers are also sent revealing the arduous amount of effort made to make Khonians and Humans exist side-by-side.

Suddenly, sounds of people screaming, running, etc are heard before all communication goes dead.. All the escape pods are launched, the ship then proceeds to fire and/or tractor on the pods. Many are destroyed, and many are forced back to the ship. The ship then hurries back into the rift.

The remaining escape pods head directly for the Neozjwani.

Probes immediately close in on the rift and force it closed as soon as the ship passes through using the Telurian field.  The Neozjwani sends out collecting units to collect the pods and to harbor the refugees.  The Premein fleet re-appears.

News is sent to all known empires in this universe.

(Also, I really gotta go to bed soon, so contact me on Steam or something later.  Go ahead and respond, though.)

The people retrived from the pods say that they are happy to be released from the oppressive khonian empire. The humans appear to have been enslaved.

A stray signal was detected in the rift before it was closed.

The TE requests that all known leaders of empires of this universe and the OCS organization attend an emergency meeting to discuss the state of the parallel universe and the apparent ease of access that the Parallel Khonians have with this universe.  In other words, people, discuss.

A stray signal was detected in the rift before it was closed.
It is sent everywhere for decoding, and double-checking.

The stray signal has been confirmed to come from another ship, however, it apparently does not come from any known nation, past or present.

But it bears a striking resemblance to...

One explanation is that it is simply another nation in the parallel universe. Another explanation is that the rift could lead to multiple universes.

OCS suggests that we continue living our lives as we do now.  Reports record minimum damage from the ship that is, presumably one of the more powerful ships of the original Khonian empire.  It's obvious their fleet is obsolete compared to ours.  We should just continue to live by the supposed Khonian, "rebels," and act as a haven for other rebels and refugees.

Lestainia agrees this would be one of the best actions to take.

Erinaum wishes to stay out of trans-versal affairs, but wishes to stay out, except to give one message:

"We will stay in our universe if you stay in yours."

Also, to mention that invading universes may have serious repercussions on the forces of the universes involved..

Atsinan citizens stay out of peoples ways, as does the king along with his countrymen.

OCS deploys a new ship class onto the field, and it is considerably larger then any ship that has been seen in a long time.  The class is known as the, "Leviathan."  It has megaforgettons of firepower and was likely brought onto the field due to the new threat of the Khonian Empire.  It features ten hulls, eight made of titanium, one made of steel, and one made of invincium.  Its main weapon is a large ETOD style beam, powered by five Gn reactors, its power being at least three times more powerful then the largest laser powered by gn reactors.  It also features thousands of torcreep launching turrets and invincium tipped 203mm shell launchers.  Each shell is powered before launch, super heating the tip and allowing it to burn through most any surface.

basically it's just super forgetin powerful and the most advanced by far, having the same technologies of the Erinamese fleet (being able to jump into a different dimension or w/e, I forgot and cba to ask, sorry SWAT).

No problem, but you should know that Gn Reactors are expensive and outdated as a power source.

Also, Leviathan is the name of the PI-9kXE series railgun.  Erinamese spacecraft often use these.  Even the PI-1 Manta used it since its invention almost a century ago.

The Erinamese Premein, Sortiao and Trelletan fleets jump into subspace, in which relm, the 3ID drive allows the physical properties to be defined.  It is a "pocket universe" or a bubble "below" space-time.  This creates the familiar "hum" around the universe, more powerful at the location of the bubble.  The distortion center is extremely difficult to find, as it is only an exact point, to define it mathematically.  The ships cannot forever stay in subspace, as it required 8 A-Class Infinicells to maintain it.  It essentially allows craft to simply "pop" out of existence, and appear at any moment.  This requires reality and probability anchors, though.  These are very small anchors, and cannot be seen by the human eye.  If destroyed, all that energy of the matter resurfacing into subspace is given off- a HUGE source of energy that is not even worth trying to contain and should not be used as a power source.  However, these anchors are protected remotely by a 3ID System.  This system is also able to move or even teleport the anchor.

As for largest ship, the Luna'i is a constantly growing ship, being assembled when not in use.  It leaves and joins the Premein fleet as it chooses.  It is not nearly as large as the "Leviathan," but still grows at a fast pace.  If you want a comparison, I believe that the Leviathan would be about 2.1x the size of the Luna'i when it originally was introduced.  The Luna'i is now 1.25x its original size since it has been improved so many times.

Sounds complicated.  Also yes, I just realized I put Gn reactors when I meant infincells.  I can be absent minded somtimes.  ;-;

What the hell is going on.
