You are all saying "but adoption ruins our childhood" well, you wouldn't be saying that if you had the option.
I've been attempting to maintain my composure here, but "smarter" is a relative term. Statistically speaking, in a study performed by a scientist by the name of Joel Cohen in 1971, titled, "Legal abortions, socioeconomic status, and measured intelligence in the United States," couples who opted for a legal abortion had a higher average IQ than couples who chose otherwise.
I don't want to lecture or scold you, and you can have whatever views you choose, but you must be able to back them up somehow, either through personal experience or a rational argument with statistics to show why adoption is marginally better for both the parents and child of such a scenario a reasonable percentage of the time.
