I like Conan's

Did no one see this?
Yeah I like it. More inspiration for me to work on team bots.

Can you work on more events for bots as well? I want it so that when you capture a territory the gang bots of the previous gang turn into bots for your gang (I also am going to get certain buildings to change colour as well but I think I can already do that with the default events).

jokes aside, here's an idea

Build&Support

does anyone remember Mr.Cookie's old build-and-support game where it would be a freebuild and people would "/support" the builder to give them more bricks to build with? I really enjoyed that idea but the idea didn't take off too well because Mr.Cookie couldn't host over long periods of time.

The main benefit of a server like this is that unlike most freebuild servers which don't have much of a purpose, this one pushes players to actually try their best when building. The brick limits you have before you get support also push you to be smart about building, and would overall force people to try out new methods to build things, and especially be brick conservative. As it would consolidate the best attempts of players across the community, it would become a centerpoint of where one could go to learn new techniques, to explore ideas and methods to do things, and to discuss over and improve upon existing techniques.

Builds would range from showpieces to tutorials, to miniature DM's to building a minimap of a TDM that could be created. Baseplate Rules would be enabled, but no limit to lot size (other than unreasonably-sized lots) would be imposed; the brick limit and support system would hold that in check. Authorized admins would come by regularly to look over pieces and clear out builds that haven't been touched in over two weeks. No clearing of builds that are clearly being worked on would be authorized, whether or not the build looks like it is going in a direction that would be successful. Clearing of recently-created pieces would be based on a vote of three admins; if they all agree that the build that was created is spam or is getting in the way for others to build, it will be destroyed.

Vehicles on the server would be modified ones, ones that cannot move and are there for show. This is to allow people to include a vehicle in maybe a garage or a miniature airport, but prevent vehicle spam. Items and weapons would be limited to default, plus duplicator and fill can, and maybe jumpgun or hookshot.

If the code cannot be secured from Mr.Cookie I will personally figure out how to code just for this, if I get the two months. In that situation, I would like to hold off on immediately requisitioning the two months and instead start it later, when the code is complete.
This is a great ideaaaaa

also supporting derro!

There Will Be Zombies
TWBZ has been a secret project I kept to myself for probably 2 years now. I've been planning to use ZAPT, but since Rotondo helped me greatly with the bots. I have a new plan. I have a build that is currently ALPHA since I struggle with creativeness to do so. My biggest struggle is that I've also been trying to get my ports open for 3 years. No matter how hard I try, they just wont open. When I was younger. I had myself a build that was on this forum, made it a little tidy, and I hosted it from my ma's workplace. The server grew huge to about 30 players. They really enjoyed the difficulty but said it was too repetitive. I'm currently trying to work them flaws but I need some help with the design. I have some pictures but not on this current PC I'm typing this on.

If I can get this up and running. I will be managing this a lot more than I used to.

Introduction
There Will Be Zombies is a survival game where everyone tries their best to take on a giant wave of plastic-eating zombies (No, zombies do not eat bricks!). The more zombies you kill, the more points you gain witch can be retrieved in the miniature shop I've provided which includes plenty of explosives and heavy duty firearm. There are parts of interactive scenery (which includes of exploding barrels atm) that you can use against the zombies. (Very effective!) You will die, but if you don't, you are the winner! Congrats!

Basics
The entire map is set on a rooftop (Yes I know, rooftops are not an orignal design.) I'm coming up with an office area that goes under ground of the building (And in the future, maybe some more maps and an actual gamemode). If I can get the server up and running, I should be able to gain some supporters, not that any of my friends are not enough already

We've all had our fare share of Zombie Shoot-em-ups from time to time. Of course, This is sorta on the contrary of what it is. I'll tell you what it ain't!

  • Yo friend Timmy and his 2 minute city built on 1x1x5's
  • No "roleplay" crud where you need to follow some time consuming "storyline"

I could go on and on but ain't that also time consuming?

Listen here PAL there will be zombies, and lot's of'em.

I will be honest. The more I work on TWBZ, the more I feel as it being a failure. That never stopped me from continuing though. I highly doubt that if I can get this up and running, that I will stop it.

edit: after seeing all of these ideas I'm let down of my own ideas inside.

Gah, I have plenty of ideas, but have no motivation to make them happen...

Just incase if anybody missed that.
But why would you do that?

snip
ok what.
i have been working on a project almost similar to this one
but instead of 1 giant wave, you have multiple waves

then again, it is a basic idea

good luck without pool lub...
