I dunno, would you sue someone or bring up charges against the, if they destroyed your computer?
lol
a computer is a petty thing to sue over

Kearn, an animal is not set at a certain monetary value and only that; a family that loves said animal can be in the full opinion that the dog is worth millions, easily, simply because of how easily it fits in as a family member.

A monetary price cannot be put on that of love.

My god, Kearn you bring up the most cynical arguments I have ever seen.

It can be when the said family isn't rich.

The only problem i have is that they didn't KNOW the dog was going to survive. It DID just get ripped to shreds by bulldogs. I wouldn't spend 10k on the possibility of the dog living for another year or so.

so does anyone else think it's morally wrong to sue someone for 10000 dollars because they let their dogs off a leash and the victims decided to spend copious amounts of money on their dog instead of putting it down and getting a new one
no you're stupid because the loving dog was injured in the first place. had the dogs been on a leash, none of this would have required money.

One time at 5 in the morning a coyote got into our backyard and my dog went face to face with him and was like "DO YOU EVEN LIFT BRO? while having a brodown with the coyote. They just barked and snapped at eachother until I just threw a rock at the coyote and it ran off. Not really badass but it was funny

cynical != reality

actually there is 0 point in bringing this to court and going through the legal fees without actually confronting the neighbors or involving the police about negligent behavior first (which apparently didn't happen)

reality =/= unrealisticly saddening

If everything goes as it should it would be about 5K for another 5 years or more.

True.

life is a fatal condition

everything dies, dissolves, and is reused for other purposes again and again and again until the end of time

gambling $10000 instead of putting the animal out of its misery and spending $500 on another pet that will last much, much longer seems like an awful idea

again, we don't want another pet and I have no clue what you mean by 'misery.'

By then he was in shock and near death with punctured lungs, crushed ribs, a dislocated leg, and many other wounds.

Obviously that means he wasn't on pain medicine, amirite?

After recovering from surgery he was in no pain, he was completely fine.
