The game has a heavy RPG element.
Elaborate. Because I'm fairly sure it doesn't.
Weapons are supposed to get better as you progress, not balance.
The Grakata is
worse than the Braton and is literally only there as Mastery fodder. stuff I found the MK-1 to be more effective.
Although there are weapons that should be higher level/harder to attain.
I'm not saying there shouldn't be. I'm saying that making the Braton more effective than a weapon you actually have to get to Earth to build is handicapped.
But the mods? C'mon, it hardly took me any time because I knew what I was doing. The wiki is there for a reason.
The wiki can be inaccurate and it's difficult to say for sure what the drop rates are because WHOOP OBFUSCATION
What majority of the players actually complain about the game anyway? Warframe has thousands of people playing and tens of people who go and complain on the forum. Some people who get bored, get bored and move on, but the game also attracts a stream of new players, which works out. The majority would be still liking the game after a load of hours. Creating new content for people to come back and play is a little more important than fixing persisting bugs that will have a small effect on overall gameplay
First off, the game is bleeding players. DE has confirmed that the majority of players comes from Steam and according to the graphs doesn't even peak 20,000 on weekend events. Secondly, creating new content is not, actually, more important than reiterating on what is already there and making it better than it is now. This mentality pisses me off and is why I'm starting to get tired of the game. Third, the new content tends to come in the form of weapons, which would pretty much be leveled purely by hopping over to Xini or Cyath and using a Mag, Nova, or Rhino to stuffstomp everything until it hits 30 at which point you sell it and stop playing. Thinking that bugs which cause mods to be
completely useless on certain weapons is less important than another fifteen longswords is handicapped.
I will admit that the Darka is a hot piece of ass thoughImplying they aren't working on adding even more lore to what's already existing (see: Dark Sector). This immerses me in a world pretty well, if I do say so myself. And customization + leveling systems + "crafting" ≠ RPG?
Okay the game had a very nice RPG element back when skill trees were a thing (albeit this making for some absurdly broken builds such as 9 meter puncture and +500% fire rate)
Right now there's scarcely any RPG to the game. The lore is also pretty loving stuff, Berserker frame is a generic rape-and-revenge story background, so on and so forth. Customization only coming in the form of colors and possibly helmets assuming you watch the alert feeds or shill out generally isn't good enough. The level system is stuff and supports using minmaxed builds rather than having hilarious niche builds (IE: Twin Vipers with maximum fire rate, multishot, and magazine size is inviable and less effective than reducing fire rate in favor of damage)
Also the crafting system is annoying. It takes excessive amounts of time, which I dislike, and requires multi-tier grinding in most occasions. It goes like this
Grind to earn credits so you can buy the blueprint
Grind to collect materials and more credits to actually build the thing
Grind that thing to build more things
Build more things to grind for keys
Grind keys to earn parts and blueprints
Grind cells to build primes
Grind materials to build blueprints for primes
Grind derelicts for mutagens and golem keys, plus those loving vaults (Which I actually don't mind
that much, but I can understand why it's dumb)
Grind for materials to build golem keys
Grind golem for BONEDADDY gubbins.
Grind credits for clantech blueprints and research materials plus rooms
Grind for materials for rooms in clans
Grind for more research materials while stuff's baking
Finally get clantech weapon, if it's not Flux Rifle, Ogris, Ignis, Synapse, or Acrid it's probably stuff.
Notice how most of this stuff is grind. This game's content is pretty much all grind. It's absurd.
