no you literally just go into online on pc, it doesn't automatically transfer characters.

ya'll know that you get to basically remake your character when ya transfer them, right? really the only difference between transfer & new is losing out on whatever cash/property u earned in last gen.

holy loving stuff 65gb of space required, the download for this has gotta be at least 50
this will take a while

I'm a giant loving hypocrite. Oh well...

A killer preorder deal in first or third-person. Grand Theft Auto V PC + San Andreas + $1.3M in-game currency for $46 with code SAVE23-PEROFF-MOSANT. [GTAV (PC), $46]

To be fair, I did say I wasn't going to pay $60 for a year old game. But then again, I just pre-ordered a video game and I feel disgusting.

Edit: Just saw that this was posted before. Oh well, in case anyone missed it...

is it going to be more expensive when it's not in preorder?

Not a single publisher on the face of the planet is mentally challenged enough to make pre-orders cheaper than RRP. That's why they add a lot of bullstuff extra dlc that silly players think they're getting a good deal for, when really it was just content already in the game that was sectioned off to people who bend over to the publisher's wishes.

So, no. And if it is, that's going to probably cause a lot of stuff.

You don't think there are retailers selling preorders for GTA V for less than $60?

They're selling the game at the same price they'll sell it post-release. Why would the retailer want to sell the game for less than they bought it for before the game has even released?

They only lower the price either when they want a large sale period (usually for tax reasons) or when depreciation hits and less people are interested in the game, and they want to clear stock.

So you think Green Man Gaming is going to sell the game for $46 at release? I'm actually asking, because I can always cancel the pre-order. I just figured I was saving a buck or two by buying it now rather than if I had bought it at release.

Having done some research, Green Man Gaming is offering the $46 preorder as a special which requires you to use the voucher code "SAVE23-PEROFF-MOSANT". Obviously, they want to beat out the Steam purchases.

So, for that specific case, it's cheaper to preorder than buy on release, but only because of the special deal which I dunno the terms and conditions of, except that it's not open to Australian customers who have to still pay $80.
