yes, i have

so I take it you guys never played the lost and damned?
what

i have

coming from someone who's played flight sims pretty much all their life, no, no they're not.
it's not realistic, yeah, doesn't mean it's bad.
coming from a real life pilot and someone who's played flight simulators their whole life, yes, they could be MUCH better.

what's so bad about the flight mechanics? explain.

I did.
It was the only GTA IV expansion I played.

this is a game about crime, not flying, it's just a form of transportation. the cars and helicopters and weapons are far from perfect too

if we made vehicle physics mirror their real life counter parts, the game would be stuff.

Scouting the port
Sounds like he let Floyd "scout the port."

random blobs of "turbulence" or whatever the hell it's supposed to be, engines (including turbine engines ((wtf))) can stall if you go to slow, helicopters randomly swerve around (dunno if this happens IRL or not), when rudders come off you can't control steering on the ground, etc.

are you trying to fly it like it's real life or what

it's really, really simple. it's incredibly easy.

i never said it was hard >.<

for all the people bitching and moaning about the game's lack of attention to detail in mechanics vs. fun and playability, see: gta IV car boats with wheels driving

also guys
i hailed a cab to take me to the penitentiary to find me a good ol' prison bus for my own personal use
and so
i didn't know where it was because i hadn't charted the area
then the motherforgeter takes me to inside the restricted area and drops me off and so im stuck with no car in the middle of a loving prison with 4 stars
btw there's no exit gate

Taxis can also drive you inside bbuildings
