idk your parents but they might not want be the ones to give a violent game, but if you prove that you can just do it yourself they might just let you do it because at that point they aren't taking a loss

have you seen gta: samp? yes. even. don't put it past them to take one of the biggest, best selling, most currently popular games and not try and modify it themselves because wahh too much work :(
