It's not difficult, it's has to do with the two big console competitors not wanting to touch the each other's box with a ten foot pole.
Or that PC users would have an advantage over consoles.

Wrong its not up to sony or microsoft. Its purely based on the game developer to incorporate a large dedicated server for all systems to connect to.

believe it or not, sony and microsoft both have to allow games to be released on their consoles

Wrong Microsoft has policies against cross platform.

Implying consoles are not at the lowest settings already.

I think you having friends is irrelevant, like I said it's not going to take a $800 computer to run the game.
I'm saying that you are exaggerating how much it will take to run the game not that I care if you switch to PC or not.

The PS4 and Xbox One actually have decent specs compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3, dude. It's not THAT bad. In fact it would probably cost me about the same to get a decent gaming PC that'll run the game exactly how it runs on PS4. It's not worth it. I'd rather game with my friends.

Sure when you compare a turd to a slightly faster turd it can seem like a fantastic upgrade, but when you compare a decent PC to the the new gen consoles they will still be a joke.

it's blatantly obvious that PC's are better than consoles, everyone knows that, but I'm not going to get a PC. Everyone I know has a PS4, therefore I'm getting a PS4. Maybe one day when I can afford a decent PC I'll get one. And if I do get a PC I want it to last for the next few years. I don't wanna spend 400-600$ on a PC that'll be outdated in a month or two.

If you spend $400-$600 on a pc, like a console, it will be obsolete quicker. If you put an actual investment into a PC, closer to $1000, it will last for years.

not even this eitehr tho. good deals during holidays or just random times show for good and long gaming. My computer will last me about two more years, maybe three, before I should upgrade.

Not to mention putting together your own computer feels really good when it works.

this is, in a way, what I was getting at. it's loving expensive but it can be worth it, though I usually prefer buying consoles for their convenience and price.

and my xbox 360 lasted 7 years. see what i'm getting at? consoles don't get obsolete like PCs do. newer games will come out on PC, and they'll usually be optimized for higher-end PCs, which leaves the lower end PC gamers with little money in the dirt to rot. While console games are made to run on the intended console, no matter how old the hardware, until the next generation of console. I.E GTA V on xbox 360 and ps3. it looked and ran loving great considering how old the hardware was.

i should clarify, I am in no way against PC gaming. hell, I DO prefer it at times (back when I had a decent PC I hardly played Xbox), but it's loving expensive. Consoles are convenient and cheap, requiring little to no maintenance and upgrading, albeit while sacrificing graphics and, depending on the game, performance.

consoles last for years...
the xbox 360 was released in 2005, and the xbox one wasn't released until like eight years later, and some games continue to be released on the 360

i know what you're saying and i totally support the idea of buying a PS4 so you can play with your friends. that wasn't my point. My point was just supporting the idea of getting a decent PC build that lasts long lol.

oh, my bad dude. this thread's just going in like 20 different directions hahah. but yeah, i agree. if i do get a gaming PC i'm going to spend a lot on it so that it lasts a while.
