bump because help

I've read through all 21 pages on this thread in search of the method for downloading this.  I found it, and saw that I needed to create a .glsl file.  I couldn't do this by default on my computer, so I looked up how to online and saw that it would require the Apple devel software.  Am I wrong in saying this, or is there another way of creating the file?
Are you saying macs suck so bad that you can't set the file extension???

I'm saying I'm running windows, not iOSX, so I can't.

Paste it into a text file then change the file extension from .txt to .glsl.

After playing with the Ultra shader (on max) for an hour, my displays crashed.

It's beautiful but risky.

Even if you got this to work, nobody would be able to run it, WITH the addition of your soft shadows (which look gorgeous, by the way) considering how poorly optimized the original shaders are. I don't understand why a game like Blockland would have such ugly shaders that cut down your FPS by a whole half on even a computer like mine. $1200 dollars and it can run max shaders, but anything above 80k bricks and my FPS dies.

I wish Badspot would actually work on improving the shaders.

But then again, it's Torque, what can you do? lol

Is there a way to soften them less?  I feel like they're just a little bit too blurry for my tastes, but i do prefer them over the originals.

people need to learn what a dof shot is, and when to appropriately use it...

Replace then set the file to read-only.

Well they use C++ syntax highlighting.
