I didn't even know you needed front plates anywhere in the us

My dad got warned for it when he was ticketed for expired plates last fall (that I reminded him about like ten times). The front plate is now tied to the front bumper with a bungee cord now, and actually doesn't look that bad.

Went to the North Georgia swap meet recently, saw some sick cars.

Got some pics of work on my car, we just took out the engine. puttin some 375 horse heads (from a corvette) and aluminum intake on it.

I don't really like the new rear ends on the new Corvettes. I liked the old dual tail lights.

Also lol at the ticket thing, apparently it is illegal, I know a few kids who have gotten tickets here and the reason was literally "unnecessary acceleration".

I also got my new windshield put in today, driving around with it is really weird.

As a general rule, I think front plates are a good thing. The primary issue is that most import cars (euro and J-spec) aren't designed to have front plates. For example, my car looks weird with a front plate. So I don't do a front plate.

Apparently Unnecessary Acceleration is only illegal in Wisconsin. In CA there's an exhibition of speed offense, but it's not a driving infraction so my school "security" (tbh I don't know what his position is) can't write me a ticket for it.

FIAT 600 MOTHERforgetERS!

my dad found a 1984 alfa spider in north west DC on craigslist for $1900

Quote
Offered is a 1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I have owned this car for several years. The car runs and drives well. There is some rust in the front fenders, etc. (see photos). The interior is in decent shape for its age. There is a separated seam on the drivers seat. Car is inspected and registered. The soft top is in poor condition an requires replacement. Electric windows do not operate. Tires with approximately 90% tread left. Approximately 108K miles. Additionally, there is a dent toward the inside of the left headlamp where someone backed into the car. This is a good running and driving car that is an excellent candidate for restoration. Please call or email with questions. Texting not available.

Looks like a Fiat Barchetta with a makeshift tent on the back.

I may go to Import Alliance down in Atlanta at the end of this month. Suppose to be 7000's cars or something. Gonna be great and i'll try to post an album here or something.
