I knew two of these kids. I drive in conditions like this all the time for a living, and its so overlooked at how dangerous driving really is...

I can't comprehend why new cars are having electrical stuff especially BRAKES and STEERING. What the forget happens if your battery dies or some stuff while on the road? You're going to kill yourself or someone else. What kind of dumbass thought of that?
The battery won't die, cars have alternators which makes it pretty damn hard for the battery to die mid driving. Unless you put your battery through hell and back it'll be fine.

Brakes and steering also still work if the car is dead, given not as effectively but far better than nothing.

The power steering pump broke in my suburban once while I was hauling my racecar. Steering was a pain in the ass without it. I was sweating by the time I got to where I needed to be that's how hard it was to steer.

Yeah its not fun but if youre still rolling its not as bad, easier accident avoidance. I work in a shop and some cars just come in for an oil change and their power steering wont work but they wont fix it. Its kinda scary really.

I had a 2005 RAM with rack and pinion steering. Turning was always quick and smooth as forget. Then one day the steering pump stuff the bed and it was a whole other world for about a week until I fixed it. Turning at low speeds was an immense task.

So today, I cleaned and vacuumed the van. Clearly demonstrated my iron stomach too, because the normal person wouldn't contain themselves lol. I carried a laundry basket back into the house overflowing with stuff weighing probably 25lbs or more. Also found like 300 crayons out there. Wish I had my own car to drive just to see how quick it would get "messy", since I only found two pens and some car brochures out there that belonged to me.

ferraris and lambos look p cool but porsche kind of reminds me of VW beetles

Volkswagen actually owns Porsche. Funny that you'd say that lol

Power steering is life. I love being able to steer my van with just one hand.

el camino damn if it didnt have power steering

stuff that thing would have to be rollin to steer it

My car (obviously) has power steering, but the wheel is still very tight. When I drive other cars I'm like, 'damn! this car is easy to steer.'

My old Mitsubishi Montero Sport had the power steering go out on it 3 times, the second time was picking it up from the shop and it went out 20 seconds into my drive through a roundabout, that wasn't fun in the least.

Also got my car washed today, with the warmer weather though, I probably wasted 10 bucks on it.
