Author Topic: YouTube overhauls comments and links them to Google+  (Read 29440 times)

There are richards all over the comments
And they're not even links

I got tricked into clicking a screamer link yesterday. :(
If you see anything along the lines of "google listened, old system will be back" or whatever, don't click the link.
Haha, I guess I wasn't the only one.

I had that happen to me

While very tired

And had ear buds, and forgot i had the volume up

There are richards all over the comments
And they're not even links
And doges, and creep bears, and spooky scary skeletons, and anonmaskfaceidon'tevenknow things

I don't have a problem with Google+ itself, I just hate the fact that Google is trying to force it down our throats.

Welp, guess I won't be clicking links down there anymore :x

What the hell problem do people have with the new comment system?

I guess you won't be clicking any other links anywhere either anymore then?

my favorite youtuber, the1janitor, talks about the update
he basically says that google is trying to make youtube more about internet tv than a social network

The fact that Top Comments seemingly doesn't actually show top rated comments (unless the likes have disappeared from pre-update comments), but i've yet to see any post-update comments with a lot of likes appear on top

That you absolutely need a Google+ account to see and post comments, which is an inconvenience for some as they have to create an account for a site they're not even gonna use if they don't already have one

And now all these useless dummy accounts are being created just so people can see and post in the comments and it's probably wasting Google+'s database rather than using it for it's intended purpose

it's not as if there's an alternative popular well-done video site

...is there?

No, its the fact that google is a load of stuff and that they are trying to force their products into your face and not let the user have their own choise
Google+ is the worst thing I've ever seen and I don't think youtube is going to be around for much longer if they implement google+ to take over youtube and make it a social site.
I'm already planning on moving to like vimeo or daily motion, more people who move to the site, more traffic for the sight and they could upgrade everything they would need to make it better for everyone else. Daily motions layout sucks compared to vimeo but at least vimeo did a good job of re-making their site compared to youtube and at least they don't make stupid decisions like youtube has.

What does that have to do with anything
You're literally just commenting

Youtube is its own independent site and it should stay that way, and google cant take that google+ is absolute horse stuff
