Ok so I was so excited to play but it's saying that my video card is too low to play it and it said that it will either not run at all or run poorly. When I press play, nothing starts up, even though task manager says it's running. Is this a technical problem, or does this mean I won't be able to run it at all because of my graphics/video card?

Mine takes like 3-4 minutes to start up when I double click the launcher though i can run it max everything. Don't worry about it being slow to load up. give it a few minutes and report back here.

You're going to need to get a new graphics card. Because of the 3D panning and insane graphics, it has a high demand. You can check out the system requirements at the website.

How much do you think I'd need to get a good card which can run the game? I wanna play it that badly.

go to http://www.canirunit.com/ and once it's taken you to the website click the scroll down menu, search Sim City, click on it and that should tell you what graphics card you atleast need.
