It doesn't prevent guns from sticking out of a corner. You still have to obstruct your own vision (to an extent) to hide.

I can still gun them from corners when they forget I can see what they cant ;)

also considering most noobs face forward instead of hiding the gun model

besides the inability to get morons through walls, the culling looks really nice

i really enjoyed using the m4a1 before the nerf, is it still worth using it or is the m4a4 technically better now?

The A1 is now a much better long range weapon than close range. Good for short taps, but the reduced RoF makes it near useless in close range compared to an AK or A4. You might want to try rolling an A1 in long range places and an AUG in closer range, because of the rate of fire difference.

I've heard the update described as balancing the M4's by ruining both of them, but i don't quite agree with that. Time will tell I guess.

when i feel like playing ultra-aggressively (read: messing around) i like to use the aug because it's 1 shot headshot range is the same as the p250, so i have the advantage in close quarters against eco-ers.

that's just sort of the way it goes with these things, it'll never be a cut and dry "x is just better now" assuming the people doing the balancing aren't monkeys, which thankfully doesn't seem to be the case with this game
