Oh man, you just keep making this easier and easier.
Place a trap after its been damaged enough, the piece of stuff runs away and i abandon the quest because this stuffty game doesn't have any items that can lure a monster to follow you trough areas. The area system is a piece of loving stuff anyway since it interferes with combat like in attempt 4.
Field horn if you're a weenie, or attack it to gain aggro. Stop being such a little bitch that you don't plan ahead. Area system is the best way to handle combat in the game because it allows easy escapes for everyone involved while keeping the game's actual quality at its best.
Attempt 2:
See attempt 1, i was trying to be a bit more careful this time, but that didn't work.
Attempt 3:
Pretty much same as attempt 2
these are literally both just "i suck at this game and don't know how to correct mistakes" lol
Attempt 4:
I finally get the piece of stuff to step on my trap since i placed it near the entrance to the area it escaped to in attempts 1, 2 and 3. The monster comes, gets stuck in the trap, hits me on his way there and my character flies to the area fast travel point and fast travels on the area the monster was trying to escape to. I come back, throw 2 tranquilizers but just before i get to throw the third one the piece of loving stuff trap runs out of power.
Again, because you suck at planning. Learn to back off when luring and obviously don't give it the opportunity to hit you in the first place.
Whenever you get thrown around by big monsters your character sheathes their weapons randomly. I have wasted so many loving tranquilizer balls, paint balls, potions and traps because of this loving mechanic when I've wanted to sheathe my weapon so i can run to a safe distance to drink my stuff. lol
No? You hit the sheathe button before impact/you have an issue with your controller. That is not a thing that happens. Learn to pay attention to your character and inventory so you don't waste items.
Those loving ridiculous animations your character performs when they consume potions. I have lost so much health because of those useless pieces of crap. If you're a game designer and you add this stuff to your game, at least give the player the option to loving move away if they don't want to watch the handicapped animation. In Skyrim i can consume hundreds of potions in what the game counts as a millisecond. Don't give me that loving "But you have to time your attacks and item uses, that's just how the game works" stuff. The gameplay mechanic doesn't work because it isn't fun. If this game had an actual targeting system it could work since the camera is always loving with me whenever i try to kill big monsters.
They are there specifically so you can't just quaff things rapidly and whenever, it enforces a need for strategy. Yeah, it's a goofy way of doing it, but it works very well to add additional tension. It is fun, if you're not a pusillanimous individual who doesn't bitch and moan when a game doesn't hold his hand the entire time. Grow up. There is a lock on system, it was added in a minimal extent so as not to break the feel of the game (Again, they are not going to hold your hand just because you suck at video games).
-You are only given one trap for every capture quest. There are so many times i have wasted it because of the first complaint. Not being able to pickup traps is one complaint too.
Bring your own? Don't waste traps? For real, these are getting more and more handicapped, lol.
I probably still need to emphasize that every attempt that I'm talking about on that last quote takes from around 10 to 30 damn minutes and according to some reviews, it can take up to 50 loving minutes to kill a monster.
Get good or get better equipment, which generally entails getting good. This isn't your baby ass "five minute boss fight" game, the game
is boss fights.
What if one of those unlucky (But the chance is still there, so bad game design) things happen after someone has spent 50 minutes to kill a monster? The microwave would be broken and the house would smell like burned plastic.
what the forget are you even talking about lol
Even if someone were to be the best player of all time, they could still be interrupted by a phone call or something (during the lenght of an hour of button smashing) and get screwed over and have to start again.
No? What? How could that interfere with the game, lol? Just pause, you chode.
The games pause menu is another example of stuff design: You press select, then go down in the menu and press pause. Only after pressing pause will the game stop doing things in the background.
If hitting three buttons is really so hard for your sausage fingers, use the Home button.
Also with the HUD integrated into the gamepad, you need to completely wipe your character to set the HUD on your TV screen because after making the selection between pad and TV
again, what the forget are you talking about lol
Wait, now I get it, you're just illiterate and didn't read the manual and thus don't know how to customize your panels. Holy stuff, lol.
