Author Topic: What Remains - Open World Zombie Survival PvP [Open Beta] [Pics Pg.13]  (Read 24815 times)

Really interested in this. If you need help building structures, I've built towns before.

I don't like the square map, kinda ruins it. Plus I think you'll lose interest.. But good luck though
Kinda this.
You should make a map similar to GTA does it. Basically multiple islands each being a different city.
In particular the way San Andreas does it.

Hoping that this will get finished, I really liked Project Zomboid.

How many bricks is that?

Now find a way to make people not just kill everybody else and actually have to team up.

Nicely done with the map.
I'm going to try to release the IS update by tomorrow, which will include dedicated server support.
Awesome :)

this looks p cool, hoping hunger/thirst mod isnt like "eat and drink every minute or you die"
Nah, you get hungry after like 30 - 45 minutes in the game and you don't die right away either, you slowly begin to get hungrier but it will take a while until you actually starve to death.
Hunger will also effect sickness. (if you are even sick)

Same for water but water is a little bit faster.
Water also effects speed of the player if he is fully quenched.

Me and ZSNO like the map.
The point of the map was to have a lot of walking around/ground to cover.
If we made random islands then it would defeat that purpose.
It just needs some getting use to :I

Plus the 'square' maps are an actual style. It's called cubescape.

Plus I think you'll lose interest.
Why are people assuming this? Geez, other people who make free roam pvp's sure have given it some sort of 'impossible to finish' reputation or something.

May need help today or Saturday possibly. So far we have like very little progression of actual buildings lol. We need to do something...

How many bricks is that?
The map alone without buildings yet, around 95k.
I think we will get close to the brick limit but we won't hit it when we add the buildings.

Now find a way to make people not just kill everybody else and actually have to team up.
Actually, the whole point of this is survival. It's not simply about teamwork.
Sure, there will be small groups of survivors who team up, but there will be pvp whether we like it or not.

If you are referring to BBB, I have asked Alphadin to finish coding it.
Everything, including all the information, is in his possession.
BBB does not rely on me to be finished, it relies on Alphadin.
The build for BBB is done as well.
You should motivate him, you paid him right?

You should motivate him, you paid him right?
Yes I did.
Well, I gifted him a game. (he asked me to)

Yes I did.
yeah, then motivate him.  you gave him real currency for something, you should get BBB done in return.  I mean let's be honest, it will be almost 2 years next august since he started it.

I have motivated him already. Multiple times.
I said that I simply gave it up because I lost patience with him.

He will just finish it whenever he feels like it :I

Now anyone who reads this knows not to go to Alphadin when they need something coded.  Sorry it didn't work out.

I remember you talking about this in the TS server. Can't wait to try it out sometime!

why are people saying that he will lose motivation? thats like telling people not to go and do cool stuff because they might not finish it. loving dumb. good luck, can't wait to see it in a more finished state.

I'm in the teamspeak when you need me, babe

More like a giant KOS deathmatch.
