Although I don't think banning guns is a good idea, I must profess against the "ban all dangerous objects then" argument. Guns are ridiculously efficient for their size and weight. The ability to kill at a range of distances while remaining mobile puts them above all other forms of weaponry. Since the military, police, guards, and the occasional Flash Mober use them, I think they know what's best.

Not saying heavier gun control would work though, not in the United States anyway.

Who do you think the founder was? Hint: Not the 7 billion+ people besides me.
How old are you?

i love hearing gun advice from citizens of nations that never fought for freedom from monarchies, thus have none.
americans need their guns because they needed the guns. and need them for similar issues in the future.
we claim to be so damn free, because we have actually done it. and we knew what was needed to make it happen.

Free Masons =/= Illuminati

But how the hell a Kinder Egg is a dangerous item. We had these in Europe and nobody died because of that. Also in the cover of the shell it says not suitable for kids 3yr or younger.

You revolt against the man Bisjac.

Because in the United States people stopped wanting to take care of themselves, so they just blame other people for their mistakes. Some kids never grow up fully and still shove things in their mouths. So if a parent gives a kinder egg to a kid who is 4 or older and ends up choking on the plastic egg shell and dies. Guess who they going to blame? The company that made the kinder egg, not themselves, not their carelessness, or their failure to stop the kid from eating a plastic shell, but the company. Why? Because people have been indoctrinated into thinking that nothing will be their fault, it will always be someone else's fault.

So on the politicians end, their goal is to reduce the amount lawsuits possible because they figure the citizens are too stupid to take care of themselves. Why bother trying to re-indocrinate people when you can just reduce all lawsuits possible. Forget the careful people and the law abiders, because of the actions of a few or many means that no one else can have a kinder egg. Just like guns, because a large group of criminals and insane people have killed people and now it is believed no one should have them. Just like kinder eggs. Also just because you got rid of the guns and the kinder eggs, does that mean people are going to stop hurting themselves and others? Nope, people will continue to choke on things that shouldn't go down their throats in the first place and others will just continue to get guns off the black market illegally.

In the first place, bearing arms isn't a right, it's a privilege. And people are loving up and they're going to lose that privilege if they keep fighting about it and if the people who want guns should go to the military and then they could be trusted with a firearm.

1) It is a RIGHT to bear arms, look at the constitution. A right does not mean you can have a tank and ride around the town practicing your rights.
2) Civilians who are taught how to use guns and aren't crazy would use them for good. Just because criminals and the few shoot up people does not mean law-abiding citizens should have their guns taken away and have the criminals still have guns.
3) .... what milita-. What the forget is your logic.
